The band is “The Record Company” and they play old-fashioned, hard driving, pulsating, exciting rock n’ roll.

Their new song is “Life To Fix” a red-hot rocker with a simple, relatable premise:  “My life has fallen apart in every possible way.”

How do we know it’s “really hard driving rock n’ roll?”

Because it has a chorus of familiar “whoa whoas”… reminding us just how seamlessly Bon Jovi, also a hard driving rock n’ roll group, worked in their “whoa whoas” in their 1986 classic “Livin’ on A Prayer.”

In fact, the “whoa whoas” in “Livin’ On A Prayer” were so good the song became the group’s first #1 on Billboard’s Rock Chart.

“Living on Prayer” is more lyrical than “Life to Fix”, which skips the amenities– one of the reasons we love this band.

The Record Company is a Los Angeles trio that BoomerMusicUpdate first touted two-years ago, and posted about them again, last year (April 2017).

The Adult Alt world immediately embraced “Life to Fix,” which ranks #2 in that format, airplay wise, this week.

Heads up if you watch the Bon Jovi performance on the YouTube link (below): the song holds up. The video doesn’t.
