Country star Jimmie Allen has re-imagined Louis York’s “What Does Christmas Mean,” from three years ago, keeping the duo (Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony) and adding Nashville trio the Shindellas for a cool, new holiday song-for-grown-ups to add to your playlist.

This is hardly Country–it’s just a fun, bouncy and boppy Christmas song, four minutes of musical respite from a bumpy 2020.

There’ll be snow on the ground
There’ll be lights in the trees
There’ll be love all around
But if you’re not with me
Tell me what does Christmas mean? …

And a charming refrain

(Without you) shoo-bee-doo-bee-doo-bee, alright
(Alright) shoo-bee-doo-bee-doo-bee, alright

Jimmie Allen is scheduled to perform New Year’s eve on ABC’s Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020.

A quick note:  We’ll be off for the holidays, returning on Jan 4th 2021. We wish you the merriest of Christmas’ and the happiest of New Years.’
