Togetherness, 2020 style, has taken on new meaning, exemplified in the new single from Australian brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, who go by the name for King & Country.

“Together” features guests Kirk Franklin, a Gospel star, and Pop star/singer/songwriter/actress Tori Kelly.

Their message is a powerful one: neighbor helping neighbor, unity, teamwork–not just in the difficult times but all the time.  The delivery is “Christian Exuberance.”

If you’re fightin’ in the fight of your life, then stand

We’re gonna make it through this hand-in-hand

And if we fall, we will fall together

“Together” is from for God and Country’s most recent album, “Burning Ships,” which is currently number one on the Christian album chart and includes three number one Christian singles.

“Together” is charting on multiple formats:  #18 on Adult Contemporary, #41 on Adult Top 40 and top 5 on the Christian format.

The more things change, the more they stay the same department:  Fifty years ago, Canned Heat’s “Let’s Work Together” sent the exact same, hopeful, message.
