Few songs are as haunting and mesmerizing as Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game,” but Dutch singer/songwriter Duncan Laurence’s “Arcade (Loving You Is A Losing Game)” gives it a go.

To date, it’s the most streamed Eurovision song on Spotify, it has  topped the charts in the Netherlands, and reached Top 10 in several other European markets, and is growing steadily in the States on three different formats:  Adult Contemporary (#12), Adult Top 40 (#16), and Top 40 (#27).

As Laurence explained to WiwiBloggs “Arcade” is “about the search for the love of your life. It’s about the hope to reach something that seems unreachable.”

It’s slow, it flows, and unfurls like flower:

I’ve spent all of the love I saved
We were always a losing game
Small-town boy in a big arcade
I got addicted to a losing game

Duncan Laurence is 27 y/o; in 2019 he won the Eurovision Song Contest.
