“Get Back,”, the highly anticipated, almost 8-hour, 3-part Beatles documentary began airing yesterday on Disney+.
Directed by “Lord of The Rings” Peter Jackson, “Get Back” takes viewers back to Jan., 1969, when the band had a tight time-line to write, rehearse, and record what became the “Let It Be” album, which culminated in the legendary “roof top” concert.
Thanks to new film and music technology and ace editing, the sound and color are pristine, and the unscripted interactions of the band, as they create, are priceless.
