Monday was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Day, and also the start of “Believe In Music Week” an “online, global gathering to unite and support the people who bring music to the world.”

Brooks has won the Country Music Association’s “Entertainer Of The Year” award seven times and remains the number one selling solo artist of all time.   Recently, he and wife Trisha Yearwood  covered “Shallow,” the Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper hit from “A Star Is Born.”

Grammy winner Etheridge won a “Best Song” Oscar in 2007 for “I Need To Wake Up,” which she wrote for Al Gore’s global warming doc “An Inconvenient Truth.” She also has had 11 Billboard Hot 100 charting singles.
