Seger turned 75 y/o May 6th –we Boomers remember his hard driving, high testosterone heartland rock and roll, softened with a poet’s insight; his gentle, often tender lyrics pitch perfectly capturing the inner life of teenage America, circa late 20th century.
Tom Cruise’s breakout scene in his breakout movie, “Risky Business,” was his no-holds barred air-guitar performance of Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock & Roll.”
