There’s probably someone, somewhere, who doesn’t love Dolly Parton, but I’ve never met that person.
At 75 y/o she’s working as hard and intensely as ever, expanding her sphere of influence beyond entertainment into philanthropy, and, as a “Zoomer”–a first wave, early Boomer–she’s a role model for the rest of us: She looks good and healthy, and has high spirits and high energy.

Dolly was born Jan 19, 1946, just 19 days into what turned out to be an 18-year long “Baby Boom,” which spawned 69 million kids, the oldest, like Dolly 75 y/o and the youngest 57, however, her appeal transcends demographics –she’s “one of a kind” and we Boomers are lucky and proud to have her as a symbol of our generation.
