Among the hundreds of concert tours and millions of tickets sold, one artist now stands above the rest.

Ed Sheeran’s recent “Divide” tour grossed a mind boggling $736.7 million.

The bed-head red-head singer/songwriter extraordinaire takes the crown from U2 who have held the record since 2011, when their “360” tour grossed $735.4 million, a figure so staggering it seemed unlikely that anyone could possibly top it.

Sheeran, known for his unique brand of bouncy pop songs and emotional ballads, turns up the heat on his most recent album, “No.6 Collaborations Project.”

On one of the cuts, “Blow,” he’s joined by Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars (an unlikely pairing).  It’s a good ol’ classic rocker that’s getting air-play on multiple radio formats: Active Rock, Alt, Top 40, Hot AC (Sirius/XM Pulse channel).

BTW, the video has the voices of Sheeran, Stapleton and Mars, but the images are of glamorous, lip-synching women.
