Happy (70th) birthday, Huey Lewis, singer/actor/golfer/performer extraordinaire and all-around Mr. Nice Guy.
Lewis was only 21 y/o, in 1971, when he hooked up with the band Clover; fast forward 11 years, the band renamed themselves Huey Lewis & The News and had a “Top 10″ hit with”Do You Believe In
Love.” The rest, as they say, “is history.”
Lewis turned 70 last Sunday, July 5th. Two years ago he was diagnoed with Meniere’s disease, which causes tinnitus and vertigo, disrupting his singing and his performances.
