One of our favorite Boomers, Cher, turned 75 y/o yesterday, and, fittingly, People magazine feted her with a special edition: “Her Music, Her Movies, Her Incredible Life: From “I Got You Babe” To “Moonstruck.”
A star since her teens, People could have easily made this a double issue!
Everything she’s done has been unexpected, including recording her biggest hit, “Believe,” when she 52–it was 1) a global sensation, and 2) made her the oldest female artist to reach #1 on Billboard.
While it can get “exhausting being Cher,” she’s not planning to slow down, and that once concerts and movie return, she’ll be back, too.
