The word “icon” gets tossed around casually, lessening the impact, but when the icon under discussion is Tina Turner–it’s 100% on point.
HBO’s describes their new documentary, “Tina,” as “an unvarnished and dynamic account” of her life and career. Deadline Hollywood says there is “never-before-seen film, audio tapes and personal photos.”
Turner lives in Switzerland with her husband; she’s 81 years old and has said she’s ready to withdraw from public life.
“Tina” airs tomorrow night at 8P on HBO. Here’s a preview.
