Mick Jagger, long time member the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Dave Grohl, frontman for the Foo Fighters, brand new inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,  flat out rock on “Eazy Sleazy”– they wrote it and perform it:  Jagger on guitar and vocals , Grohl letting loose on drums, guitar and bass.

The lyrics are wild, loose, and topical: news headlines, what it’s like to quarantine, dodgy politicians, hip expressions, choppy and random:

Looking out from these prison walls
You got to rob Peter if you’re paying Paul
But it’s easy, easy
Everything’s gonna get really freaky

Soon it’ll be be a memory you’re trying to remember to forget

We took it on the chin
The numbers were so grim

Tiktok stupid dance
Took a samba class
Yeah, I landed on my ass
Trying to write a tune, you better hook me up to Zoom

Mick Jagger is 77-years old, two years older than the oldest Boomer, and is, apparently, as high energy and vital as he ever was, which is so admirable and awe inspiring.

Grohl is ecstatic: “It’s hard to put into words what recording this song with Sir Mick means to me. It’s beyond a dream come true.”

He  predicts that “Eazy Sleazy“ will be “the song of the summer, without a  doubt!”

“Ripley’s Believe it or Not” Dept.: 50 years ago, the Stones’ “Brown Sugar” was #1 and Dave Grohl was 2 y/o.
