If you’re a Linda Rostadt fan (and almost everybody is) than you know she has Parkinsons disease, that she doesn’t sing anymore, and that she’s smart and funny, so, you, and I, and almost everybody else, can look forward to “Linda Ronstadt: The Sound Of My Voice,” a new documentary now in limited release, and which will air on CNN later this year.

The film details Ronstadt’s  background–that  of an artist who excelled in genres that ranged from rock and folk to American Standards and the Mexican ballads and mariachi of her youth growing up in Tucson.

Ronstadt was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame  2014.
