Originally scheduled for January 31st but postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic,The 63rd Grammy Awards air this Sunday night from the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Like most other awards shows, the ceremonies will be “virtual.” Highlights include a diverse group of Lifetime Achievement recipients representing jazz, opera, pop and rock.

Celebrants include Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Lionel Hampton, Marilyn Horne, Salt-N-Pepa and the late “Queen Of Tejano,” Selena.

Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” will emcee the event for the first time,

On Wednesday night, March. 17, also on CBS:  “A Grammy Salute to the Sounds of Change.”  Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Brad Paisley, Andra Day, Gladys Knight, John Fogerty and more in a two-hour tribute to songs that inspired social change, the stories behind those songs, plus clips from the greatest moments in Grammy awards history.  9PM Eastern.
