Last week it was the Country Music Awards, this week it’s the 47th Annual American Music Awards, Sunday night, Nov. 24th, live, from L.A.’s Microsoft Theater, 5P Pacific, 8P East, on ABC-TV.
One of the show’s highlights will be Green Day celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 1994 album “Dookie.” Expect to hear “Father Of All” –it’s the title track of their upcoming album set for release in early February, along with “Basket Case,” one of their hits from “Dookie.”
Another big moment will be watching Taylor Swift become only the 2nd entertainer honored as “Artist Of The Decade”–Garth Brooks was the first, in 2000.
Swift is on a roll: on December 12th she’ll become the first woman, ever, to receive Billboard’s “Artist Of The Decade” award, and the very next day she’ll turn 30!
