If you love Tom Petty, or the artists who influenced Tom Petty, or the artists that he influenced, then you’re in luck, because next Friday “Finding Wildflowers (Alternate Versions)”  is scheduled for release and among the 16 alternate takes is one for “You Saw Me Comin” (accompanied by a new video.)

“Finding Wildflowers (Alternate Versions)”  follows last year’s successful “Wildflowers and All the Rest” which included outtakes and demos from, and live performances of, the original 1994 “Wildflowers” album.

Few artists can successfully issue unreleased songs posthumously and make it an “event,” but few rock n’ rollers have Tom Petty’s 40-year career and track record.

“Finding Wildflowers (Alternate Versions)” received an immediate and warm reception from Adult Alt radio programmers.
