Remembering “The King”  at The Close of  “Elvis Week”

In 1974, a promoter who repped the era’s two biggest rock acts, Led Zeppelin and Elvis Presley, arranged for them to meet, following Elvis’ performance at the Forum in Los Angeles.

The back story and details of that 90-minute meeting is shared by Robert Plant, who loved and learned from Elvis, as did the whole band, and underscores Elvis’s influence on the rockers who followed his footsteps.
