We don’t know if there’s any truth to the old saying that  people die in threes–but–we do know that three giants in the music business recently passed away…

Two weeks ago, “the storyteller,” Country music Hall of Famer Tom T. Hall died– he’s probably most well-known for writing “Harper Valley PTA,” which exemplified his wit, humor and insights into life and human nature.
.
Several days later,  Don Everly passed away–is there a Boomer alive who doesn’t relate to “Bye Bye Love,” “All I Have To Do Is Dream,” and “Cathy’s Clown?”

And last week, Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts died– since 1963 he has kept the the band’s beat, his life-force and energy adding to the excitement of a Rolllng Stones performance.

We remember.
